Episode 45: G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

GI Joe movie poster.jpg

In the Tatumverse, Channing plays at least two characters named Duke: first in She's the Man, and also in this week's movie, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, a movie we're surprised has a sequel. In this episode, Wesleigh shares her Groundhog Day Marathon experience and fan theory, our friend Bob calls in to talk action figures and what they meant to him, we wonder why no girls' toys have made it into blockbuster franchises, and lament that JGL is completely wasted in this role.

fantasia-poster-1940.jpg

In a special episode for the first of the year, Wesleigh sits down with her Dad and sister, Whitneigh, on Christmas Eve to talk about Fantasia (Her father requested this title after hearing the pilot, so we're bringing him on as a guest!). In this episode you can hear us noisily stirring bourbon slush, Whitneigh shares the scariest episodes of Unsolved Mysteries, Dad posits the theory that everything from I Love Lucy to Dirty Dancing can be traced back to this movie, and Wesleigh teaches her family about Star War's blue milk.
